Amazing hostel one of the best welcomes I ever recived from the owners , best food in Nicaragua ! Helpful and fun staff that will go out of there way to help you with all your activities and even take you out for drinks ! This is the only hostel I will stay in ometepe , I hope they open soon in more locations !
We really enjoyed our time there. It’s really quiet there as it’s a 10- 15 minute walk from moyogalpa, a good distance from the noise of the scooters and motorcycles in the town. You can look at the stars and sunset from the viewing tower which is really beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful and they made it feel like home during my stay. The food in the kitchen is really good and there is a great variety of different cuisines from around the world. You can rent bikes and book any other hikes you may want to do. I would highly recommend staying here.
“They made breakfast and dinner and it was so inexpensive and they delivered so much food. The atmosphere was like being in someone’s home. Everyone was welcome, everyone socialized. I requested coffee several times and they brought it to me, with a thing of milk and sugar, a napkin and a spoon. And when you’re meal is ready they bring that to you too. They do your dishes. They supply you with a towel and soap. I could go on and on. I could have stayed there forever.”
The hostel is really nice and clean, and they have a full on bar serving mixed drinks and beers that people congregated at if you felt like being social. Only thing it was a bit loud at night, so depends what you want or expect. The food they served was pretty good as well, had some variety to it which I appreciated since I was getting really tired of Nicaraguan food at the time. Only catch is it's a pretty far walk from Moyogalpa, like 20 minutes.
